Lian (An-Li) Cho is an illustrator from Taiwan. Along the way, she's lived in New Zealand, London and now resides in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently a BFA Illustration student at the School of Visual Arts and enjoys drawing nonsensical stories, cooking elaborate stews and laughing at punny jokes.

Lian is currently illustrating Newbery Award winner Erin Entrada Kelly's new book, Lalani of the Distant Sea set to release in 2019 through Greenwillow Books. She is also working on her first children's book set to release in August 2020. For a brief summer, she interned at Sesame Workshop and hung out with Elmo and Cookie Monster.

In the past, Lian has worked on posters for Stanford's Medicine and the Muse Program and SVA, created patterns for Sensilate's line of award winning blankets as well as illustrating life style advertisements for startups such as Citybudd or City543.
