Born in Taiwan and having grown up in New Zealand, Lian (An-Li) Cho is currently a children’s book illustrator based out of Brooklyn. She spends her day drawing either from her studio or her local bakery where she can be found hoarding croissants. Lian’s work features a mix of various mediums. She enjoys creating charismatic characters in colorful compositions. Lian has been a speaker at SCBWI and is currently working on multiple picture books.
On her off days, she enjoys cooking elaborate stews that eat through her gas bill, watching terrible movies from the 2000s and wishing she owned a round dog she could name Potato.
